Here is a basic explanation of how my Magic Stacks work. Included is a .psd file for each stack as well as 2 .png files for each. If you can use the .psd layered files they would probably be the easiest. If not, use the .png files and then layer them on one document with the black under the frames. Using the .psd or the .png files, place your photo under the frames and above the black layer. While your photo layer is active, press control-g which will clip the photo to the shape of the black layer. Then merge visible, and you'll be ready to put it on your layout. I do not recommend rotating the file much if at all as the shadows have been included so that your photo will appear to be a stack of photos. Rotating it will alter the look of the shadows. |
