Inspire Me Challenge #1

Welcome to our first "Inspire Me" challenge. I can't wait to see all the terrific layouts that I know will flood the gallery. So, without further ado, your first Inpire Me challenge is....


Rounded corners and paper layering are the rage in both digital and paper scrapbooking these days. An outstanding example can be seen in Stacy’s Butterfly layout seen here: http://www.gottapixel.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/149/cat/500/ppuser/2

There is so much visual interest to this layout - from the contrasting photo size, the vellum, the rounded corners, the diverse backgrounds, the type and the elements. I love the combination of backgrounds – striped, text and blocks. The other thing I love about her layout is that you can actually see how she considered every space on the page – it is very well balanced and very pleasing to look at.

Whether it be the colors, the layering, the photo, the rounded corners or something else, your challenge is to draw inspiration from Stacy’s layout to create your own. My corners aren't exactly rounded, but more cliped at angles. This was a fun LO to make. Thanks for the challenge.
