Hi!
I am both new to this wonderful site as well as new to posting a layout. I have never posted one before on any site and need some help! Is there a size requirement for the jpeg? I tried to find some instructions on uploading and I am not seeing any? Also, do our layouts have to be original? By that I mean, are we permitted to use element kits, embellishments, word art, and etc from items we have downloaded? I understand that they must contain the colors of the swatch. I just am unclear on these few things.

Everyone has done such a beautiful job! Great work ladies!! I am SO motivated by what I am seeing.

I looked around some more and I found the instructions for uploading files. I think I should have written it down though, now I am not sure where I found it... lol!

most of us use 600 pixels X 600 pixels at 300dpi. if useing photoshop, flatten imange go in to image, image size and change the pixels to 600. Keep constrain porportions and resample image bicubic checked. Then save as a jpeg at quatilty around 7. This should post, but do not save as a copy I had problems with this, and remember to save the original before you flatten the layers. So if you want to go back and add stuff you can, I have just learned this and a few tricks myself.

Thank you! I looked around a bit more and found the instructions for uploading. I was then able to resize and upload my jpeg. Again, thank you so much for your help. :)

Now, I guess my other question is, how do I download the freebie files that come when you post a layout? I am such a newbie to this posting of layouts ... lol! Sorry for all the questions!

Hello, I just uploaded a page for the challange, it is my first time uploading! So how do I put a link on this so everyone can click on it???

Navigate to the page where your layout is located. In the address window at the top of the page, click with you mouse in the window. The address will be highlighted. Then using your mouse again, right click. In the window that pops up, choose Copy.

Now, navigate to the forum where you want to post your address. Begin a new post and say whatever you're going to say, "Here is my layout, etc. . " then right click with your mouse and choose "Paste". The address will appear in your post.

And that's all there is to it!
