I would be so grateful if you had tutorials on microsoft digital image suite 10 as that's the program I have. I really want to know how to use a paper clip on a page and make it look like it is actually hanging from a ribbon for example, Thank you

Oh, so sorry! I should have specified. I work at an advanced level with PSP, but would like to learn about designing lay-outs. Also about making elements, papers, etc. I have just signed up for two classes with LVS for scrapbooking. One is basically lay-outs and the other making elements! Hopefully, this will be exactly what I am looking for!

What I'd like to see a tutorial for:
---and I use PSP9 (also have X, but I don't like it)

(1) Learning how to make a heart
(2) good, realistic paper tear...not the magic wand then drop shawdow.
(3) how to make bows/bow ties <---I've been searching for this one!
(4) How to do the grunge look on paper or even the whitewashing
(5) Any other elements that can be made, like that wax seal...is that only for other programs?
(6) I'd love to learn how to make a shaker and I can't figure it out!
(7) Brushed metal alpha's, I can't figure it out

oh the many things we could learn!! These are just some of the things that I'd like to learn! So if you know of a tutorial, or know how to....would you share? Please oh please? :D

That is a pretty inclusive page with links to all sorts of tutorials for PSP. The tuts are listed alphabetecially and if you don't like one, another one is usually there too!

Wendy - the way I learned to make a heart in PSP is like making a cake. You draw out a diamond with your Preset Shapes Tool, then add two circles to the top and fiddle around with them till they look right. The good thing is you are working with vector shapes, so until you save it as a png you won't have jaggies.

Thanks for the great link Debbie O0 I've just been over there, and I think it has just about every tutorial I will ever need for my scrapbooking .... I still haven't managed to make a proper LO yet .. lol !!! I haven't had time to get in here lately (what with work and some health problems) so got a lot of catching up to do :o

PSP9 is the older version. PSPX (Paint Shop Pro 10) is the newest version. I have both and prefer the 9 version over X. But it is just personal preference. I am used to 9 and I can't think of what they added to X except the name change from JASC to Corel when they bought out the company. I know there are few new things, but not enough for me, so I just use my older version. HTH.

I think X has more photo features. From user on my PSP groups it also has video tut that teaches you how to use it.

I would like to see a step by step tutorial on how to use templates in PSPX. I have tried to use one for PS but I found it very hard to figure out how to tanslate it for PSPX! So I'm putting in a request for a tut on it here. I really love this site and all you design team members rock!!!
