Even with saving the lo 600x600 pixels, the jpg still will be over 360 kb. big.
What to do to make it the required 150k?:-\

do you change to 72dpi then change the size to 600x600?
What software are you using?

If you are saving and can't get it to be under 150, check the compression rate you are saving it. You can set this to as low as 5 in PS without serious issues of compression loss.

I do the 72 dpi bit on Photoshop Elements 2 - I don't think PSP has it.

If you're using PSP 8 you can change the resolution of your LO when you resize it. You'll see this option in the middle of the box that pops up when you choose Resize. Change the pixels per inch to 72 and then go up on the same window and change the width and height of the LO to 600.
Then click on your JPEG Optimizer. A window will pop up and you can change the compression value. On the right side you will see what the LO will look like compressed, and right below that you'll see the size of the overall jpg in bytes. Keep that under 150,000 and you should be set.
If you need more help, let me know :)
