A mommy board of mine shared this link, and I bet this will be fascinating! Click on the link, and then choose the month you were born in. Then the day, and finally it will list all of the #1 songs for the days in the month and year you were born. Share your results, here ... I wonder how many I'll recognize!

The #1 song on my birthday, by the way, was "Bad Girls" by Donna Summer. I wonder if I'd recognize it if I heard it because it isn't ringing any bells just by the title. :)

Here's the link! http://www.joshhosler.biz/NumberOneInHistory/SelectMonth.htm

Blue Tango by LeRoy Anderson? Possibly a one-hit wonder; haven't heard that sound nor any others. Hope it's not an omen. LOL!

1979 ... "Heart of Glass" by Blondie

I don't know if I know that one.

Ha, there's a memory. I was in 6th grade when this was popular. We were doing a school play and some of the popular girls were dancing to this. We thought we were oh so cool because the teachers approved it without realizing she says the line, "soon it turned out to be a pain in the a$$". Ah the things we find amusing at 10 years old. lol

Mine was "Heard it Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye.

Now I have to go download "Heart of Glass" ;D
