ok, so I have a bunch of stuff that I have downloaded over the past few months. I started this digital scrapbooking initially just because I wanted to create my son's first year photobook pages in this fashion. Now that I am so much more into it, I would really like to share some of my layouts. However, I have mixed and matched backgrounds and layouts, created folders to save random elements or wordart, etc so now I have NO IDEA who to give credit to for work if I upload some of my work. I had no idea I would need that info later.
What do I do now?
Thanks,
Marylin

You will need to track down who the designer is for all the elements you used before you can upload them. If you are unable to find out, unfortunately, we have to ask that they not be uploaded. Not the answer you wanted I'm sure :(

But this is only for the elements? Not backgrounds/papers, etc?

No, it is for everything. If someone else created it, it must have a credit. This includes, papers, backgrounds, ribbons, elements, everything.

I would like to ask a question in regards to this. If you make the items you use in a layout in a program like PSP or any other one. Do you credit the tubes, textures, gradients,or shapes to the company that made the program or do you credit yourself? Or do you not have to credit anyone?

Tubes, credit the software. Everything else you don't need to credit.
