I think this is going to be a tough challenge - no way I can expect mine to look like in the magazines. But I do have some ideas, so I'll have to experiment - glad it's the holiday this weekend too - will be a great chance to capture photos of our traditional meal and later scrap them. Thanks for the challenge!

This was the worst Groom's cake EVER....this came from a reputable bakery...the wedding cake wasn't much better....my niece at least had a memorable cake.

I had fun with this one - I have always taken lots of pictures of the Japanese meals I make, so I had to do them! Besides, the kids will always want to remember what it was I cooked for them.

Thanks Loofa. I called my mom to see who started it and she said when she was pregnant with me she found it in a magazine and started making it. Everyone in my family loves this cake. and it is so simple to make!
