Fun Funky Mystery Number for March 1 - 7

Big news! So many of you played in February, that we've now moved this game to the Scrappin' Table. :dance3 We're sure hoping all of you come back to play each week, and send your friends here as well! Let's sharpen those brain cells while we have fun AND get a little reward in the process!

More Big News!!!Beginning with this month, I've decided to reward you every single week when you come out and play my math game. So, here's what you'll get for playing ~ besides a free brain workout :) :
* Solve one puzzle during the month ~ receive these numerals!
* Solve a 2nd puzzle during the month ~ receive a $1 coupon to my store.
* Solve a 3rd puzzle during the month ~ receive a $2 coupon to my store.
* Solve a 4th puzzle during the month ~ receive a $3 coupon to my store!

I checked with my friend, Angel, before posting this, and she's so graciously said she'd keep monitoring this thread even though she'll have to keep up with you guys from week to week to see who gets which coupon! She IS an angel!

I've loved all the layouts I've seen in the gallery (http://www.gottapixel.net/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/607) already with Cute Stuff with Roses, so that was my choice this month for my new numerals. If you don't already this fun page set, you can get it HERE (http://www.gottapixel.net/store/product.php?productid=18891?MMCF_GPKRE). Let's see you all come out and play right away and grab these numerals while you can!

Here's how you play. Just figure out the one right answer to the puzzle, send a PM to imangel (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=3454) with the right answer, and she'll send you a link to a zip file which includes a full set of numerals 0-9. The file is password protected, so she'll give you the password, too. :)

For this puzzle, you might want to read *MY HINTS PAGE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?p=97213#post97213) and brush up on your divisibility rules.

Try writing 4 lines on your paper and putting possible numbers under each. Mark out numbers as you go ‘til you get the answer. Check THIS (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/../gallery/showphoto.php/photo/24614/cat/500/ppuser/5668)out to see what I mean.
Clues:

It is a four-digit whole number.

It is divisible by 9.The thousands digit is one less than the hundreds digit.

The sum of the four different digits is 18.

There are no 4s, 5s, or 6s in the number.

The thousands digit is an odd number.

The number is divisible by 5.

Remember if you figure it out, send imangel a Private Message with your answer. Do not reveal the answer in this thread as that will end the game for the week. This puzzle will go through the week, and I'll put up another one next weekend.

I teach a gifted group of elementary students, and we do lots of logic activities and deductive reasoning. One of their favorite "games" is this mystery number game. I'm so glad I brought it to this site a year ago Sept! It tickles me to see so many new faces :) each month and also those of you who have played every week for the last year and a half! Woohoo!
