Our Design Team Members pick a week that they would like to offer their daily downloads, and each day during their week, they will upload the element for you to download. Sometimes, if you download the entire weeks worth of downloads, you will end up with an incredible page kit! Sometimes the Design Team Members create elements that they know our members have been looking for.

No matter what it is, they are all free. All we ask of you is that you establish yourself as a member on Gotta Pixel.

To do this, you have the opportunity to post comments to layouts in our gallery, or by responding to threads in our forum. Once your post count gets to 30, which is after you have actively responded to layouts or the forums 30 times, you have unlimited access to all present and past daily downloads!

Hello.

Please take a look at where you are downloading the freebies from. All of the freebies that we offer to those who have 30+ posts are not password protected. Our daily download is never password protected.

The only files that are protected are one's that we require you to participate to receive, like participating in a challenge. We do not advertise these as a "come and get with no strings attached". We even make sure to state in each download forum which file is which so that you can understand that you can only get the password for these files if you participate in the challenge.

I hope that clears up the problems you are having.

Sometimes FeeFee makes me a bit dizzy...I really enjoy the beautiful daily downloads. Having a daily reason to visit the site keeps me dabbling and hopefully someday I'll have a whole scrapbook together. Love the loads of other free stuff available by participating in this fun community. It has helped me have the chance to try out my personal style and find designers that create kits to support it.

Mom2fur, go to the very top of any page within the GP website. Up there you will see several tab. Click on the Freebie tab and you'll find all the downloads. The daily downloads are about the second one down I believe :)

Have ya figured it out yet, Sunflower? I don't see anyone's response to your question - so I'll give it a whirl... As a newbie myself, I was quite intimidated at first, but I think I have the hang of it now. The daily freebie has it's own section. After that day they move it to the section that best matches (ie: papers go under Paper Goods, ribbons would fall under the Fibers, Stitching and Ribbons - etc). What I did once I hit my 30 posts, was took a day to go back and dl each item! Whew, took forever and I did it kinda wrong. So later after I realized the grand ideas of this site and freebies, I redid my folder. I have a main GottaPixel folder. Then subfolder for each wkly freebie (ie: Sweet Daisy by Melissa McCoy) then I moved each day's freebie into there. Took a while since I had some DL, some I had missed, some I had with other kits... But I think it's a lot more organized now. So, now, this wk was my 1st wk to dl the "easy" way, which was to set up the folder 1st, then dl into it! Yea! And I am collecting some awesome freebies! And getting some great ideas. Can't wait to learn more!

I really like the idea of the 30 post ´cause it feels like persons are more active here than on other places.

It´s nice to visit your own gallery and see that people have taken time to write something about your LO or to get an answer to something you´ve been thinking about and posted:D

I am at 20 downloads per day. If that amount changes as you post, I don't know. I think its probably enough anyways. Otherwise I'd have a zillion unzipped files to go through every day! ;)

Melinda, I too love the freebies. Living on social security disability doesn't always make ends meet for me either, lol. I buy something once in a while, when I can, but the freebies make it possible for me to digi scrap a lot more than I would if I had to buy everything. the limit of 10 was only one day and then thereafter it was 20 and still is.
I have had problems here and there with downloading but seems to be a normal occurance. It's extremely seldom now. Thanks for all the great downloads! Lots of talent here at Gotta Pixel it seems like home now.
