Why is it???

When I try n' resize an image, say to 6x8 it won't let me... instead, when I type in the 6 for the width, it automatically makes the length 4.448 ?? and if I try n change that, it automatically changes the width then.. grrr..
I'm using photoshop CS..
Can someone help.. thanks in advance!

Babbs,
If you uncheck the "constrain porportions" box found at the bottom of the "image size" dialog window you can then set your height and width to whatever you want it to be... then click OK... :)
