Favorite Color?

Well I thought I would try putting one in here. I have fun going through the gotta have games:) .

So here is mine: Whats you favorite color and why?

Mine is Purple, and the reason is its very vibrant, exciting and upbeat to me.

When I look at photo's if the color purple is in it my eye is attracted to that part of the photo!

My initial answer would be green....mostly because it is so vibrant, vital and versitile. Depending on the hue.....it goes with just about anything.....

But....I'm really drawn to the beautiful wine shades I've seen out in clothing this spring.

PINK ALL THE WAY!!!! LOL, i've had a lot throughout my life, started out as pink and purple, then i broke away from the "girl colours" and went to blue, then back to pink all the way..

Oh man, I love the colors of nature - I'm not really picky. I don't like pastels.. and I don't really like pink or peaches.

I think Mother Nature has the best colour palette and love using the colors you naturally see in the world.

deep dark earthy purple as in the color of a richly colored eggplant or a black plum, pair that with the beautiful rusts, oranges, and yellows of autum. Beautiful. I've learned with color to think outside the box. You'd be surprised what colors work together. My second favorite is periwinkle paired with a rich red with a touch of blue in the red.

I really like lots of color, but greens and reds attrack my eyes every time. Picture the colors in a rosy-red rose with it's glossy, green leaves.

pink or purple though when it comes to clothes its usually blue. but i have a lot of pink and purple too that i wear to my fundraiser stuff (cancer related things)

I've always loved the color GREEN ... because primarily it's all around nature. :) I don't care much for lime green or puke green... but I'm a fan of Hunter Green and Emerald Green. :)

Jewel tones in general, and green in particular. Hey, I'm a redhead; I'm virtually required to like green (just not lime green, which makes me look horrid!). Second favorite is probably blue, especially navy. I prefer to wear navy to black.

I love all colors, especially brights, with the exception of orange. I typically dress in bright colors (to the dismay of my 2 daughters 17 & 18). My current fav is bright lime green. I have a couple of shirts this color and am looking for a summer purse in lime. Typically, the brighter the better......................Deb:D

I love the color wine. I like deep colors, and the main decorating color in my home is wine.
When I bought my home, the realtor wanted us to go see the home she had just bought, and decorated. She used alot of burgandys... I fell in love with that shade, and went with wine.

Jewel tones for me - and purple for sure! But, have you noticed... more important than the color you pick - the reason you pick it!

I love purple and jewel tones because they are rich and luxurient and have a nice degree of passion. ;)

I love all colors! But, I would have to say right now it is country barn red. I am re-doing my kitchen and trimming it in that color to match a rooster wall paper border I put up and I am drawn to that color everywhere I go.

I LOVE the color of my new *dare I say it* Kitchenaid mixer! I was a little put off by it, on the website, but it was SUCH a GOOD deal, the color grew on me. LOL And now, it's the cutest thing in my kitchen. :D

I really don't have a favorite color. I guess it depends on what I'm doing or where I'm going. I always wear purple whenever the Sacramento Kings have a game. Most of my scrapbook pages are in blues and maroons/burgundy colors. I have a lot of purple, black and all shades of green clothes and hawaiian prints. I wear all colors except yellow and baby blue. I like white cars. I love the 80's (a very color period) Dinner dances I always wear black. Whenever I see a rainbow, I always take a picture of it. Tough game. I don't have A favorite color.

BLUE...all blues...everything blue. So calming. My main colors in decorating my home are blues (dark) and I have found that they go with so many other colors, especially deep maroon which is another favorite!
