Ok I was wondering if when I scan my real papers and turn them into digital papers for my digital layouts is it the same ettiquette as in giving credit. Like I just scanned some papers and tags from 3 bugs in a rug. So when I finally make a digi layout with them do I give credit or just leave it blank? Is anyone else doing this with their real supplies? Thanks

I haven't done this yet but seriously have it in mind to do so. mainly because since I decided to go digital I still have tons of paper that I have already purchased, and as far as credit I have so much stuff there is no way I have any idea where I got it from, so if I know than yea I would prolly give credit

the manufacturers' copyrights probably prohibit copying their original art works...

I do beleive Liz is right. I remember this asked a while ago and someone said it was a no no due to copy right laws and the fact that the papers were meant to be used one time or cut up to be used in parts a few times. But not meant to be used over and over like the digital things. Hope that helps!

The answers given are correct. Because real paper only is expected to be used once, and not reused, scanning and using it as digital would be going against the wishes of the company that creates the paper.

I am STILL using my papers for greeting cards and glue on punch outs to complement the printed projects.

yeah, i have tons of papers too! i think a lot of digi-scrappers out there are in the same boat, having come from traditional paper scrapping.
