Your next challenge - should you choose to accept it (and I hope you will) is.....

One of the most amazing things about digital scrapbooking
is all the wonderful effects we can create with our photos. Brenda's
layout titled Autumn leaves seen below is the layout from which we
will draw inspiration from for this round:

The focus picture in Brenda's layout is a great example of what we can
do with our photos. In this layout she has made the picture black and
white but colorized the leaf in her daughter's hand. It is a beautiful
effect. Brenda's layout is also well balanced, visually pleasing and
conveys great emotion.

Your challenge for this round is to play with one of your photos. Turn
it black and white, sepia or add some other effect – simply put, take
advantage of the many filters, brushes and effects that our design
programs have to offer. For those of you who are not familiar with it,
one of my favorite photographic effect filters is called Virtual
Photographer by Optikverve Labs. It is a free filter that you can find
with a simple google search.

For this challenge, I chose 2 pics of my daughter dressing up. I cut out Nikaya, and inverted my selection area, and blurred with the Glassen until the backgrounds were unrecognizable. Then I desaturated 50% (with the exception of Rudolph's nose).

i toke a colored photo gray scaled it and histry brushed the fish bowl.
the second pic is the same as the first but then i took a sketch filter and pen sketched and and then paint brushed it
