Okay, I KNOW this is a dumb question, but....

How do you select a rectangle or square portion of your image with ROUNDED edges? I know I saw a tut somewhere on this recently, but don't for the life of me recall where....Didn't pay attn. to it since I was using mostly PSP...DOH!

TIA.

In CS2 I use the rounded rectangle shape, then select that with the magic wand... but there's probably a more direct way :o)

Okay, I'm a dope, but I can't find the rounded rectangle shape.....I looked for it 'cause that's how you do it in PSP too....

you're not a dope!

If you click and hold down on the regular rectangle button you get options for other shapes. (it's below the text button)

If you have a more complex shape that you want to select, you can hold Ctrl and click on the layer in the Layers pallete. Of course, this will only work if what you want to select is the only thing on that layer. I hope that makes sense! :?

that's the way I do it in PSE2, also!
