OK, I am really wondering something that you will probably all say "duh" when I ask...how do you "attend" an online crop, and what do people do there? :-[
If you look on the calendar, you will see the dates and times for different crops, along with the link to the crop kit you need to use, if there is one. Mark down the time and make sure to download the kit. Then on the date and time of the crop, go to the top of the page here, and click on the chat button. It will take you to a place where you sign in with your user ID and password.
Sign in, and make sure you are in the chats/crops chatroom. When crop time comes , the host will give you the password to unlock the kit, as well as any rules he/she has for the crop.
Most of the time, there is a theme, and the kit goes along with that theme. The host will tell you that you have a set amount of time in order to do a LO using the kit they provided. They will give you the link to the gallery it goes in, and often times, you will get a bonus for posting a LO. Some people like to scrap while they are in the chat..others like to sit and chat for a while, then do a LO when the crop is over. Hope you decide to join one soon !!

A crop is a great place to learn more about the group and about digi-scrapping! When I was brand new, that's where I got many of my questions answered!
For those that don't know, the name comes from the "paper scrapbooking" world - a "crop" is just a gathering of scrapbookers that get together to crop their pictures and make scrapbook pages. So, in the digi-world - we get together in a chat room and talk about scrapbooking, life in general, or the topic of the crop!
Brenda meantioned downloading the kit in advance - this is very important! The crop kit is removed approximately one hour prior to the chat time. So, you would get the password at the crop, but you have to already have the download on your computer!
Hope to see everyone at a crop in the near future!
