Lost jpeg file section

HELP!!! I have lost the jpeg selection in the format section in saving section of photoshop. I can't save any files as jpegs. I click and all the other ways to save are there (psd, bit,ect) but the jpeg one is gone. Anyone know how to get it back?

I figured out what my problem was. I had made the page in elements and was trying to resave it in photoshop. It doesn't work that way. When I went back and opened it in elements there was the jpeg file!! Strange huh!!!

This happened to me with a kit I made. I initially made my papers in PSP, saved as jpeg, opened the papers in PS7, made a few changes, saved them again as jpeg files, and then they were lost!! All that work down the drain. I had to start over with my papers. Good new is the kit turned out better than before :)
