Howdy...
I can make an element at 300 dpi, and 4 inches.
When I save it in png format, it saves it at 72 dpi, and 12 something inches.
Also, on any items from other people's kits, even tho they were made at 300 dpi, my photoshop opens it at a larger inch size, and at 72 dpi's.
In BOTH cases, the pixel sizes are the same. So my 4 inch item at 300 dpi would be 1200 pixels.
Now, after I have saved it, and reopen it, it opens at 5.556 inches and 72 dpi, but still with the 1200 pixels.
Does ANYONE know how I can set up my Adobe Photoshop to SAVE my images, and open them, at the original file size they were created in....in this case, the 300 dpi.
I don't have a problem with this personally...I can just resize them, and they are still the same high quality, but for things that I make that I offer to others, I would really LOVE to be able to have them saved at the 300 dpi.
TIA for any help with this!
