What a wonderful month October is! I love how everything starts to cool off and fall is finally here.

I wonder what your most favorite fall memory is. Mine is when my son was born, October 5, 32 years ago on Monday! What was yours?

Please tell your online friends about this game. Just send this to them and ask them to join us:
http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=247

I recently made a full set of 20 quick pages, just perfect for having a special book printed for your children. This would make a great gift for Christmas or their birthday, even if they're now grown.

This month, for my numerals, I've created 0-9 to match the alpha I used in this book. You'll get these numerals by playing this game. If you play the game every week this month, you'll get the full alpha right from the book!

On Sale:
The ABCs of Me or Look Who's in the Zoo! is 30% off for the full month of October! You'll have so much fun using these to scrap your children's school adventures!

Get my ABC book HERE (http://www.gottapixel.net/store/product.php?productid=24109)!

I've LOVED looking at what others have done with this set! Click the whale to see!

How to play:
Just figure out the one right answer to the puzzle, send a PM to withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) with the right answer, and she'll send you a link to a zip file which includes a full set of numerals 0-9. The file is password protected, so she'll give you the password, too. :) Even though you'll only win the numerals once during the month, make sure to come back each week and continue playing.

Bonus Prizes:
If you like these numerals, make sure to play over and over this month. Every person who turns in the right answer every week this month will win the full alphabet!

Also, at the end of each month, I'll be giving away a free kit of the winner's choice. The more you play, the better your chances of winning. ^-^ Also, creating layouts with the number frames and posting links to your layouts in this thread increases your chances.

(Team members, please continue to play as always, and you can still win the numerals and the full alpha, but the free kit will go to someone not on the Gotta Pixel team.)

Click *HERE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6184) for basic information.

For this puzzle, you might want to read *MY HINTS PAGE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28949). Check the hints if you're not sure about prime numbers.

Clues:

1. It is a 5-digit whole number.

2. It is an odd number.

3. Every digit is different, and the sum of the digits is 24.

4. The hundreds digit is one less than the thousands digit.

5. The ones digit is one greater than the ten-thousands digit.

6. The thousands digit is half of the ten-thousands digit.

7. The hundreds digit is the square root of the ones digit.

How my students solve these puzzles: Try writing 5 lines on your paper and putting possible numbers under each. Mark out numbers as you go ‘til you get the answer. Check THIS (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28950)out to see what I mean.

When you solve the puzzle, send Terry a Private Message with your answer. Click withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) to send. Do not reveal the answer in this thread as that will end the game for the week. This puzzle will go through the week, and I'll post another one next Saturday.

Terry and I hope all of you come back to play each week, and send your friends here as well! Let's sharpen those brain cells while we have fun AND get a little reward in the process! Thanks for being part of the fun here at Gotta Pixel!

Favorite Fall Memory ... is from 49 years ago. We are from South Texas and down here we just don't see the dramatic season changes. It is pretty much either hot or cool. :)
The first year we were married my husband was in the Army and we spent the year of 1960 in Connecticut. In October, we made a weekend trip through Vermont and I will never forget the awesome scenery. Until then I had only seen pictures of the changing colors of the leaves. I knew it happened but seeing it is something else. I'll never forget that weekend.

Terry ... you have mail. :)

That's a wonderful memory, Shari. My favorite fall memory is from 1958. My dad was in the Air Force, and we had just been transferred to Illinois. I had never lived where the seasons changed before. I was 10 years old, and I was in awe of the beautiful changing colors of the leaves. I was also thrilled to watch squirrel scampering about, gathering their winter stash. It was all so magical to me!

Both of my children were born in autumn and that makes it special to me.
I love travelling down wide streets lined with trees dressed in those beautiful autumn colours. There is nothing quite like it.
I have sent my answer in.

My favorite fall memory is my first date with my husband on Halloween in 1984. We worked together for years but never dated until we went to a Halloween party with coworkers. And here we are 25 years later.

My favorite fall memory is harvest.... when the combines were working, the men didn't want to stop for meals... so my mom would take a full 'hot' meal (complete with pie or another dessert) out to the fields and of course, kids came too. The men would stop for a 'picnic' type lunch...spread the blanket out on the stubble, and we would have our supper meal out in the field. :)

You've got mail, Terry!

nothing like waiting till the last minute to play. :) i am sending my answer after this post.

I have to say that my favorite thing about fall is the milder weather. Living in the Texas heat will certainly make you appreciate the cool times. The fall colors are nice too.

One of my fall memories is the birth of my first child, a son, on Oct 14th. We lived 40 miles from Atlanta and I went into labor about midnight. Called the dr. about 8am and he said 'Get in here '. I don't rush into things(neither does my son) and he was born about 3pm that afternoon at Emory U. He was lst grandchild for inlaws and 15th for my mother.

I loved reading of your fall memories. Such good times - new babies, fall colors, and even a picnic every evening. That must have been fun for the kids! Scrappt, where in TX are you? I'm in Katy just west of Houston, and supposedly a cold front is supposed to be coming. Sure hope so because it's pretty miserable otherwise. Whenever I retire from my day job, we're moving north - not sure where yet, but north of here. lol

I'm about to post a new game, so keep your eyes open. :)
