Family Album Challenge #14 - June 12 to July 11

Welcome back! Glad to see you all here at the Family Album Challenge. The overall purpose of the challenge is to create your Family Album quickly and easily. Each month we will work on a different month of the year and inspiration will be provided for both a calendar style LO (http://www.gottapixel.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/9605/size/big/cat/500/ppuser/2967) and a traditional scrap style LO (http://www.gottapixel.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/9611/cat/500/ppuser/2967). Pick one or both, but you must complete at least one 2-page LO to qualify for the prize.

Our challenge this time is pages for the month of April. You can do April of this year or a past year...doesn't matter as long as you are documenting the month!

Remember, using the sketches is NOT mandatory....they are simply inspiration to get you started...your pages can be any style you choose. So, feel free to get started if you like.

I'm so excited to be working on this challenge with you and I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Post your LO's in the Family Album Gallery (http://www.gottapixel.net/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/546) and a link back in this thread by July 11th for a prize. Links and passwords to the prize will be PM'd to you at the end of the challenge.

Well this is my First 2 pg LO I figured I would give it a try. I couldn't get the hang of the retangle shape but I tried. I enjoyed doing this layout cause I started to learn to use more drop shadows and play around with it a bit. I'm really starting to feel comfortable and I think it's starting to show. I would love comments tho on the vellum used in the 2nd page...that I think was my hardest part!
