Here we are with a new month of numerals and games and a new highlight kit!
We've seen so many new players this past month! Please help keep this growing by telling your online friends about this game. They don't even need to be digital scrappers (but let's show them how fun digital scrapping is :-D). Anyone who enjoys math challenges just might want to see this thread. Please send this link to them and ask them to join us:

I'm just wrapping up a very special kit, so I've created 0-9 to match my winter feature kit, Snow Sweet Village (http://www.gottapixel.net/store/product.php?productid=25530&cat=0&page=1)! If you play the game every week during December, you'll get the full alpha at the end of the month!

On Sale:
Snow Sweet Village is brand new in the store now, and it'll be on sale for the entire month of December! Scrap Christmas with this set or make pages with any wintery photos. You'll love the softness of the colors along with the details in the village elements.

We're having fun sharing...Let's continue to have fun getting to know each other better here and commenting in this thread when we solve the puzzles. This week tell us what it's like where you live. Do you think you'll have snow for the holidays?
How to play:
Just figure out the one right answer to the puzzle, send a PM to withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) with the right answer, and she'll send you a link to a zip file which includes a full set of numerals 0-9. The file is password protected, so she'll give you the password, too. :) Even though you'll only win the numerals once during the month, make sure to come back each week and continue playing.
Bonus Prizes:
If you like these numerals, make sure to play over and over. A new game comes out every Saturday. Every person who turns in the right answer every week this month will win the full alphabet!
Also, at the end of each month, I'll be giving away 2 free kits of the winners' choice. We love our new players, so we've decided we'd have a special drawing just for those of you who are playing this game for the very first time. :dance3 So, if this is the first time you're playing, please let Terry know when you send her your answer and she'll mark "new" by your name. Then at the end of the month, I'll draw 2 names rather than 1! What fun to get an extra free kit just for solving a math puzzle! The more you play, the better your chances of winning. ^-^ Also, creating layouts with the number frames and posting links to your layouts in this thread increases your chances.
(Team members, please continue to play as always, and you can still win the numerals and the full alpha, but the free kit will go to someone not on the Gotta Pixel team.)
Click *HERE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6184) for basic information.
For this puzzle, you might want to read *MY HINTS PAGE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28949). Check the hints if you're not sure about prime numbers, square roots, or any of those things we haven't thought about since math class.
Clues:
1. It is a 5-digit whole number.
2. The number is not divisible by 2, 3, 4, or 5.
3. The ones digit is a prime number.
4. The tens digit is the square of the sum of the ten-thousands and the thousands digits.
5. There are no zeros in this number.
6. The sum of the 5 digits is 19.
7. The hundreds digit is one less than the ones digit.
8. Two of the digits are the same.
9. The hundreds digit is the sum of the ten-thousands digit, the thousands digit, and the tens digit.
How my students solve these puzzles: Try writing 5 lines on your paper and putting possible numbers under each. Mark out numbers as you go ‘til you get the answer. Check THIS (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28950)out to see what I mean.
When you solve the puzzle, send Terry a Private Message with your answer. Click withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) to send. Do not reveal the answer in this thread as that will end the game for the week. This puzzle will go through the week, and I'll post another one next Saturday.
Terry and I hope all of you come back to play each week, and send your friends here as well! Let's sharpen those brain cells while we have fun AND get a little reward in the process! Thanks for being part of the fun here at Gotta Pixel!
