Does anyone know how to translate this tut (http://www.escrappers.com/distort1.html) to PSPX??? I love the effect but can't get it.

You can do the same thing in PSP X using the Warp Brush tool, set it to the warp grid instead of the brush. It'll not be fun and not easy, but you can use it to achieve that look.

or use the Warp Mesh Tool or use the Deform Tool (it's still there) in Mode:Shear

I've tried the deform tool...I can't get the rounded edges on the top/bottom. And yeah, my mesh warp turned out pretty rough. LOL. Guess I'll just have to stick to it. How about the highlight/shadows at the end? Best way to go about that?

Okay, if anyone's interested I think I figured it out. Rather than warping it (which was making the photo look funky), I just cropped the top and bottom to have the curves. Let me know if you think I got it...

The shadows can be accomplished by painting black on a new layer where you want the shadows, then going to Adjust, Blue, Gaussian Blur, pick a blur setting that works for you. Then you should have the shadow you are looking for.

A plugin/filter could probably do it too. I think Redfields has a shear filter.
