I'm pleased to bring you a brand new challenge - and it's one like NO OTHER! Each month, on the 21st, we'll be doing something "non-traditional" with digi-scrapping. The primary goal is to use our skills in ways other than making basic square LOs. The other goal is to do things that can be printed and shared! For you, your family, or for gifts.
This month's challenge is a really fun one - or at least I think it is. We are making *All Star* cards! Your card can be about one of your children (grandchildren, neices, nephews, etc.), yourself (now or as a child), a pet, your favorite sports hero (or whatever), or well, anything or anyone you want to name an All Star.
Ok, so what are we actually making ? ? ? ? Well, we are making a two part LO that is meant to be printed at 4x6 - each part will be one side of the "card" that you are making. Think baseball card, and you'll get the idea.
Now for the measurements..... I started by measuring a standard 4x6 print from the photo lab. Well, it was 4 inches wide, but it was less than 6 inches long. When I took the actual measurement and converted them to 300 dpi, I got these measurements for us to use:
1763 pixels wide X 1200 pixels tall
or 5.875 inches X 4 inches
To make your cards, I suggest.....
open a new image the size listed above
cut out two windows - this will help keep the edges neat - each with a small border around the card
copy in your papers, elements, pictures, and text - keeping the window layer as the top layer - arranging as you go!
I created a sketch to help you with the process:

When you finish your LO, please share it in this gallery:

Also, please post in this forum so we can all go and admire your creation!
And last (but not least) of all, print it! The whole idea is to make something fun and easy to print! If you have a 4x6 photo printer at home, try printing on sticky paper - then the front and back can be stuck together. Otherwise, just cut your print in half and glue the backs together.
I hope everyone has fun with this challenge!
