Gotta Pixel is looking for some creative people to join our family. Those accepted would be asked to agree to a 3 month term (with chance of being full term) working with 2-3 designers per month, create 2 layouts per designer, post to 3 online galleries (GP, DST and one of your choice) as well as be active within the site.

Kim, my dear, life is misery and unfairness all over the world....so, here, where we all share something that makes us happy...we gotta have a laugh, don't we?

Gurls, jk & jamie (because with Vicky I have spoken to so much extend that by know she knows me well on this issue):

I may sound *sweet* and seem *generous* but the only thing you get is what you deserve,
you are all great scrappers, and I always go further calling you an artist....
I love what you make, and I think you are great and just go and post what I feel...

You wont see me posting in LOs of people I don't consider good (under my rules of goodness, which may difere from other people)

There is also the kind of person you are, summed to how good a scrapper you are...
there is one CT member (she is around EVERYWHERE in the digiscrapworld, not sure how she brings up her kids being in so many CTs LOL) in whose LOs I used to comment a lot, because at first I thought the pages where mind blowing.....
then I noticed that never , NOT ONCE did she gi to people's pages to even say thank you (if you comment in my page, I ll go leave you a thank you, even if I dont have much to say about the LO, but at least I say thank you for taking the time to stop by at mine, right>?)
and never, NEVER did she thank people for bringing her in the GSOs....
So, I stopped all together lookimg at anything she does, because the woman turned into a lemon to me....and that kind you can't even add salt & tequila or sugar and cachaca(that's the Brazilian margarita/mojito, type drink)...so I wont waste my time.

You girls are amazing at what you do, some people here help me through technical computer or software problems, others have read my (kilometric LOL) emails and given me support when I wasn't well...so to me it combines one thing with the other and makes the person worth being picked for a CT....

I even wanted to write a blog post about some issues that, in my humble but honest opinion, designers should change the way they tackle....and one of those is the CT members thing...a person who is a lemon puts me of buying stuff from the designer...OK, I will buy anyway if I love the kit...but the way I see things....being part of the community ios 50% of all....

The first designer I bought a kit that cost more than a dollar and spent the money with pleasure was Rachel (Captivated Visions), and it was precisely because she is nice, she communicates and even would listen to people's problems, even when it s nothing to do with graphics ...
anyway, I m writing another Bible here and loosing the fun tone of the thing, so I ll stop here LOL

Some really interesting things you bring up here, dear mrs! It's often you wonder where common courtesy disappeared on the internet. To the defence of CT members though, I must say that at times it's really hard to keep up with every thing. I'm fortunate enought to be on Silvia Romeo's CT, and since she's selling in 7 stores, no way I have the time to be active at all places. I try to be nice and reply to questions, and thank for special things like GSOs and LOTD, but I just don't have the time to answer all comments.

I'm addicted to some challenges, and I participate in the ones I like, but I can't do challenges at every store. I have to go with what lit my inspiration. And in a way I think it's the same with forums. I tend to spend more time at the places that feed me, if you understand what I mean. This might very well result in that I'm a "lemon" at some forums - but a sweet little strawberry at others. LOL

The reason I applied to SweetDigiScraps CT (and was really really happy to have gotten a place in) is because I love it here, and I knew what Liz's requirements would be....

Some of the Brazilian girls friends of mine now CT for designers who are in many stores, they may not be full on in one pl;ace or another, but they will have a gesture at some point.... I m talking about the people who are so soberb and think are a cut above the rest.

the reason I thought about makimng a blog post was because (also something that happened in DST and I was almost incinerated in public forums) I see people talking a lot...and those are the people who never spend a penny in kits, because they are in so many CTs...anyway...

Thing is: I am a customer primarily, one who does not have much money but still make an effort to buy something from the people who have given me freebies so much (because I did scrap a whole two years with freebies) and I know other customers, other friends who spend a LOT more than I do, and we all have the same kind of line of thought....

but before I go away and stop highjacking the thread, one thing is not being active everywhere, and another is the attitude I was talking about...trust me, a huge difference.

Okay chickies....the wait is almost over.
Liz just told me...well, typed to messenger me.....there is going to be an official announcement this evening.

It is only 3:45 our time, so I am going to assume sometime before midnight. She has been without internet for mutliple in/out periods this entire week, and is still sending out responses and waiting replies on the ones already sent. (Did I mention earlier, there were over 70!!!!)

That means some of you already know who you are, and some of you still may recieve an email this evening....it ain't over till its over...bwahahahahahahahaha!...:D

You know, the competition is killing for CT spots. Remember that many many apply, and that you didn't get chosen this time doesn't mean you are not good enough. It's really as much about luck as of talent. I've applied to like 20 CTs and gotten on two. Better luck next time.

I still haven't heard any, but since the no no-mails are starting to go out, it's just a matter of time.

I agree, I'm on several great teams, and really love them, it would have been nice to be on the team here, but I've got it good, so no worrys for me. Please don't read anything into it if you haven't heard from Liz yet. Don't assume 'no news' is bad news. Had a FAB time at the wedding - everthing went smoothly and I was such a proud Mum - Ty looked sooooooo grown up in his littel suit - I've been spending this morning recovering as it was a long long day and this morning I was very achey and tired - but I'm back to the computer now and need to catch up on so much !!
