AD-spiration Challenge for July - #15

Remember playing with those little square sliding puzzles when you were a kid?! They used to drive me crazy, lol. Well guess what kind of ad I found for this month -- http://www.gottapixel.net/gallery/sh...6221&nocache=1 (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/../gallery/showphoto.php?photo=6221&nocache=1) -- it's one of those puzzles :smile: !!! What kind of inspiration can you come up with from this ad? I really need to learn how to use the paper and embellishments from kits. I am currently creating my own embellishments in printmaster and pasting them in paint...:-[ I know there is a better way, I just haven't practiced enough yet. Such is life, I guess.

A fun challenge, though. I learned a lot about moving parts of photos. Was fun to re-group them. Thanks for the challenge and ad-spiration.

I wanted to participate but I can't figure out how your suppose to cut the picture. Everytime I used the crop tool the picture piece just gets really big. I'm new to this but I'll figure it all out eventually.

Hey biker nana -- I use PSE3 and the easiest way I found to do this is to use the magic wand tool to select a square space of the template, then make your photo layer active and Ctrl-J to copy that section of the photo to its own layer. When you do this with all the "pieces" then you can rearrange them however you want. Hope that helps a bit - there are other cut/paste ways to do it but this worked the easiest for me. :)
