Speed Scrap 3-18

The Friday Speed Scrap is about to begin. Steps will be given out in the chat room and posted here

Layouts will not be due until 5:00 tomorrow, 3/19!!

Pssst ---- we've been warned by Linda to expect a "twist" tonight!!!

step 1: 3 photos

step 2: 3 background papers stacked (can tilt if desired)

step 3: 3 buttons

step 4: 3 ribbons, rickrack, or strings --- has to be 3 of the same thing

Are ya'll catching onto this "3" theme yet??? Linda promised you don't have to do 3 layouts, but of course you can.

step 5: 3 flowers

step 6: 3 additional papers (can be photo mats or cutouts, etc...)

step 7: shadow and add a 3 word title and 3 lines of journaling! You may add anything else to your
layout but it must be in sets of 3's (3 leaves, 3 hearts, etc...)

With DST they moved my son's soccer practice up to 6:30 our time, so unless we have rain on a Friday and they cancel practice, I guess I'm going to miss the speed scraps for awhile. :'(

right, you can BLAME PEPSIBUBBLES FOR MY ABSENCE!!!!!!!!!!! I was all st up for midgnight instead pf 1am, was all happy as it is earlier for me....and was exchanging emails with Hilary who told me it was actually at TWO AM!!!!!!!!!!! and she only realised she was wrong with the clock back thingy when it was too late....ohhh well, at least I made a page!

It's daylight savings time in US so yes, I believe it would be midnight your time when the SS is 8pm EST. I believe UK goes on DST until the 28th, right? So yes, next Friday's SS would be at midnight.

This was all basically a "happy accident." I was following along in the forum (since AOL isn't a good medium for chatting and scrapping at the same time). As the elements were announced, I grabbed them, plopped them on the page, did some recoloring, and then I was going to rearrange them. But, I basically liked what I'd already "accidently" done.
