Because of the limited amount of time I have to take photos, I have to kind of prioritize what I want to do. I try to incorporate several things in one photo shoot so I can save time... but I also have some goals for this year that I want to do.
My biggest one is focusing on flies. I've grown to really love the complexity of flies. Yeah they are annoying, they are kinda gross, but when you get them in the lens, especially the macro lens, they become creatures of pure amazement. So this year I want to take as many photos as possible of flies.
I also want to master taking water droplet pictures and learn how to create new and interesting shapes with the droplets. I've learned already that creamer creates mushroom shaped ploms where water looks like a finger sticking out of the water.
So those are my goals. What are yours?
