Woohoo! It's a new month and a new set of puzzles and numerals! Hmmm... I wonder which ones you'll get this month.
New contest ...
Instead of me posting the numerals right away (and also 'cause I've just started making them ;D), let's see who can be the first to guess which kit they'll match. Just post right in this thread your guess ~ and yes, you only get one guess, so be fair and don't list a bunch of kits. (I know some read too quickly and don't see all the rules, so if you do post more than one kit name, I'll have to skip you for this contest. Yikes! Don't let that happen.) The first to guess the kit that will be featured this month with numerals and an alpha will win a $5 coupon to my store! Hint: This will be a new set of numerals/alpha that I do not yet have in my store. As soon as I have them made and someone has guessed, I'll add the preview to this thread.
Edited ...
Annette guessed the kit first! Solve one or more of the puzzles during April, and Terry will send you the numerals shown here. Solve all of the April math puzzles, and you'll get the full matching alpha! See also my Zebras in Charge Collection (http://www.gottapixel.net/store/search.php?mode=search&substring=zebras&including=all&by_title=on&manufacturers[0]=25) ~ on SALE at Gotta Pixel throughout April!

Now on to the puzzle...
I post a new math puzzle every Saturday, you figure it out, and you win numerals. If you play every week, you'll get the full matching alpha at the end of the month. You can continue to play through Saturday evening even if I've posted the next puzzle early in the day.
If you get even one answer right this month, Terry will send you a new set of numerals! Solve all the Fun Funky Mystery Numbers this month and get the full alpha at the end of the month! Please read the rules, especially about not posting the answer in this thread.
How to play:
Just figure out the one right answer to the puzzle, send a PM to withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) with the right answer, and she'll send you a link to a zip file which includes a full set of numerals 0-9. The file is password protected, so she'll give you the password, too. Even though you'll only win the numerals once during the month, make sure to come back each week and continue playing.
Bonus Prizes:
If you like these numerals, make sure to play over and over. A new game comes out every Saturday. Every person who turns in the right answer every week this month will win the full alphabet!
Also, at the end of each month, I'll be giving away 2 free kits of the winners' choice. We love our new players, so we've decided we'd have a special drawing just for those of you who are playing this game for the very first time. :dance3 So, if this is the first time you're playing, please let Terry know when you send her your answer and she'll mark "new" by your name. Then at the end of the month, I'll draw 2 names! What fun to get an extra free kit just for solving a math puzzle! The more you play, the better your chances of winning. ^-^ Also, creating layouts with the number frames and posting links to your layouts in this thread increases your chances.
(Team members, please continue to play as always, and you can still win the numerals and the full alpha, but the free kit will go to someone not on the Gotta Pixel team.)

For this puzzle, you might want to read *MY HINTS PAGE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28949). Check the hints if you're not sure about prime numbers, square roots, or any of those things we haven't thought about since math class.
Clues:
1. It is a 5-digit whole number.
2. The sum of the 5 different digits is 26.
3. The ten-thousands digit is one greater than the thousands digit.
4. The product of the hundreds digit and the sum of the thousands digit and the ten-thousands digit is the same as the 2-digit number formed by the tens and the ones digits.
5. The ones digit is the square root of the thousands digit as well as the cube root of the hundreds digit.
6. Over half of the digits in this number are prime numbers.
7. The hundreds digit is the product of the thousands digit and the ones digit.
8. The tens digit is the sum of the ten-thousands digit and the ones digit.
How my students solve these puzzles: Try drawing 5 lines on your paper and putting possible numbers under each. Mark out numbers as you go ‘til you get the answer. Check THIS (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28950)out to see what I mean.
When you solve the puzzle, send Terry a Private Message with your answer. Click withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) to send. Do not reveal the answer in this thread as that will end the game for the week. We would like you to post in this thread though that you're playing, and if this is your first time to play, this game, let Terry know when you post. This puzzle will go through the week, and I'll post another one next Saturday.
