Welcome back to the second month of my brand new challenge - and it's one like NO OTHER! Each month, on the 21st, we'll be doing something "non-traditional" with digi-scrapping. The primary goal is to use our skills in ways other than making basic square LOs. The other goal is to do things that can be printed and shared! For you, your family, or for gifts.
The best thing about scrapbooking is getting to share all your favorite pictures and stories with your family and friends. The worst part is that your pages can be stuck at home in scrapbooks or on the computer! Well, this month's challenge will help you make a scrapbook that you can carry around in your purse or bag!!!! We're making mini-badge books.
I'm sure you are wondering what a mini-badge book is. Well, it's very similar to last month's challenge. We will be making mini-sized pages that can fit into the plastic ID Badge Holders that are available at office supply stores. Add a metal ring (like for keys) and you have a miniture sized scrapbook that can be carried anywhere! Just like last month's challenge, it can be printed on a standard photograph printer or as a 4x6 print from a photo lab.
This month, I've created a Micro-sized Kit - just for tiny scrapping! Make sure to download it for easy page creation.

Remember the measurements from last month? I started by measuring a standard 4x6 print from the photo lab. Well, it was 4 inches wide, but it was less than 6 inches long. When I took the actual measurement and converted them to 300 dpi, I got these measurements for us to use:
1763 pixels wide X 1200 pixels tall
or 5.875 inches X 4 inches
You also need to know how big to make the "pages" so they will fit inside of the badge holder - I bought a set (I think they are pretty standard) and found them to be 2.5 x 3.375 inches (or 750 x 1013 pixels)
I suggest setting them up to print two on a photo page. If you download the "kit" for this challenge, I've included a png file to help you do this. To use the print-frame, just make sure it is the top layer and move the lower layers around as needed for the look you want. You'll instantly get two pages!
I hope each of you will share at least two pages (one image). When you finish your LOs, please share them in this gallery:

Also, please post in this forum so we can all go and admire your creations!
And last (but not least) of all, print them! The whole idea is to make something fun and easy to print!
I hope everyone has fun with this challenge!
