I'm posting this game early today, but you can still work last week's puzzle all day today! Our math games begin on Saturday and goes through the next Saturday, so Saturdays are our overlap days.

This month's prize ... numerals and an alpha ~ everything in ALL 6 colors ~ that match a fun new school collection by Kristmess ~ Artist in Training! (http://www.gottapixel.net/store/search.php?mode=search&substring=Artist+in+Training&including=all&manufacturers[0]=23&by_title=Y) Kristina was so gracious to give her designs away this month in our math game, so make sure to check out her complete Artist in Training Collection (http://www.gottapixel.net/store/search.php?mode=search&substring=Artist+in+Training&including=all&manufacturers[0]=23&by_title=Y) and all the other goodies in her store (http://www.gottapixel.net/store/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=23)! Thank you, Kristina!

Here is her cute page kit, just perfect for little artists!

I post a new math puzzle every Saturday, you figure it out, and you win numerals. If you play every week, you'll get the full matching alpha at the end of the month. You can continue to play through Saturday evening even if I've posted the next puzzle early in the day.

If you get even one answer right this month, Terry will send you a new set of numerals next Saturday! Solve all the Fun Funky Mystery Numbers this month and get the full alpha at the end of the month! Please read the rules, especially about not posting the answer in this thread.

How to play:
Just figure out the one right answer to the puzzle, send a PM to withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) with the right answer, and she'll send you a link to a zip file which includes a full set of numerals 0-9. The file is password protected, so she'll give you the password, too. Even though you'll only win the numerals once during the month, make sure to come back each week and continue playing.

Bonus Prizes:
If you like these numerals, make sure to play over and over. A new game comes out every Saturday. Every person who turns in the right answer every week this month will win the full alphabet!

Also, at the end of each month, I'll be giving away 2 free kits of the winners' choice. We love our new players, so we've decided we'd have a special drawing just for those of you who are playing this game for the very first time. :dance3 So, if this is the first time you're playing, please let Terry know when you send her your answer and she'll mark "new" by your name. Then at the end of the month, I'll draw 2 names! What fun to get an extra free kit just for solving a math puzzle! The more you play, the better your chances of winning. ^-^ Also, creating layouts with the number frames and posting links to your layouts in this thread increases your chances.

(Team members, please continue to play as always, and you can still win the numerals and the full alpha, but the free kit will go to someone not on the Gotta Pixel team.)

Click *HERE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6184) for basic information.

For this puzzle, you might want to read *MY HINTS PAGE* (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28949). Check the hints if you're not sure about prime numbers, square roots, or any of those things we haven't thought about since math class.

Clues:

1. It is a 6-digit whole number.

2. The sum of the 6 different digits is 23.

3. The number is not divisible by 2, 3, 4, or 5.

4. The hundreds digit and the tens digit form a 2-digit number that is the square of the tens digit.

5. There are no zeros in this number.

6. The hundred-thousands digit is the square root of the thousands digit.

7. The hundreds digit is one greater than the hundred-thousands digit and one less than the thousands digit.

8. The hundred-thousands digit and the ten-thousands digit form a 2-digit number that is the product of the hundreds digit and the ones digit.

9. The ones digit is the sum of the tens digit and the ten-thousands digit.

10. The thousands digit is the sum of the ten-thousands digit and the hundreds digit.

11. The tens digit is the sum of the hundred-thousands digit and the thousands digit.

How my students solve these puzzles: Try drawing 6 lines on your paper and putting possible numbers under each. Mark out numbers as you go ‘til you get the answer. Check THIS (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28950)out to see what I mean.

When you solve the puzzle, send Terry a Private Message with your answer. Click withnuts (http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=9480) to send. Do not reveal the answer in this thread as that will end the game for the week. We would like you to post in this thread though that you're playing, and if this is your first time to play this game, let Terry know when you post. This puzzle will go through the week, and I'll post another one next Saturday.

To invite your math friends to join us, you can send them this link...

Terry and I hope all of you come back to play each week, and send your friends here as well! Let's sharpen those brain cells while we have fun AND get a little reward in the process! Thanks for being part of the fun here at Gotta Pixel!
