I hope all of you are having as much fun with this challenge as I am. It is so neat to find other ways of using our scrapbooking skills!
This month, I have a simple and fun challenge for you --- Recipe Cards! Yup, I want you to make recipe cards. Here's the basic information to get you started:
Recipe cards typically come in two standard sizes - 3x5 or 4x6 inches. They are usually "landscape" style and often have some type of border around them. And, of course, include a picture!
As I see it, you have three basic options ---
1. Blank, "From the kitchen of" cards. Make your own custom cards, but don't add the recipe.
2. Favorite Recipe cards. Do you have a recipe you are known for? One that everyone always asks for? Make it into a really nice recipe card! (If you are sharing this type of card, please do not share recipes that are "owned" by someone else.)
3. Event/Family cards. Getting together for a family gathering or other group gathering? Why not make a blank recipe card for that group or event? Send it to everyone that is coming and they can each do a card for the dish they will be sharing! Then, everyone can end up going home with each recipe on a neat card to remember the day.
Remember, if you plan to hand-write on the recipe card, then it should be printed on regular card stock.
Please share your card(s) in our gallery and don't forget to post a link in this forum:

I've made a few more pieces to go with the micro-kit. You can download these add-ons and include some if you want to.
