You just might find that you will discover something about yourself that you didn't know. You just might relive a favorite memory from the past. You just might Get To Know YOURSELF better.....

This month's theme will be a Favorite Memory...something you like to look back on, and it makes you smile.

As with all these challenges, remember, pics are not always necessary.
Or, if you don't have any pics of the actual memory, u can use a photo or clip-art that would represent your favorite memory.

Oh... I have some awesome childhood memories, I'd like to use this challenge to scrap one. I'll have to run to my Grandma's and snap a photo of a tree to complete the layout I want. Wish me luck ... hehe I hope to post the finish product soon.

I made this page about a friend's help during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. While not directly affected by the storm, my area (Cental Louisiana) was greatly affected by all of the evacuee families that came here for help. In the first months following the storm, we struggled to care for as many families as possible, while going without many basic necessities ourselves. Terri and her church really came forward to help and we even shared a much needed moment of laughter in the midst of all the heartache we were surrounded by. I cherish this small memory.
