I love Christmas but as soon as it is over i am longing for summer , I hate the time between Christmas and Summer. I am longing to see the flowers in bloom and the trees all green again .
wont be long till spring.... the bulbs are already pushing there way through the ground.

Typically after Christmas I am looking forward to the daffodils blooming. Here in Dallas it is within a few days of Valentine's Day. Although as warm as it has been for the last coupla weeks--in the 70's--we may have a really wierd spring.

I don't think I am looking forward to anything. I just try to enjoy what every day or weather it is

I hope this doesn't make me seem like a Scrooge...but I'm longing to put the Christmas decorations away! My house is so small that I'm already tired of walking around all of the decorations!

Hmmm...I'm longing for both! To put the Christmas stuff away and get some order to the house and for spring flowers to bloom. :)

I left my tree up so dh's dad could come out today to see the kids for Christmas... he called yesterday to say he didn't get a check he was expecting... so he has to postpone getting together... how lame! Oh well, sorry for the vent. I think I'll be taking it down this weekend.

I am not normally too bad but god i cant wait to get my home back to myself, well normal...lol Christmas just takes over everything . not to mention Jason's toys.... Anyone have a spare room for let...lol Jason needs another room he just has too much and i hate mess. I am gonna have to take a photo or two of his room its like a bomb site and i really hate it looking so messy but dont know what to do with it all at the moment.
I enjoy each season as they come, but I do really like spring. With all the new growth on the trees and the bulbs blooming it makes it hard to stay inside. It is a good time to go outside and go for long walks in the park.

I'm longing for Beef Stroganoff. Every year my Father-In-Law has that for his birthday dinner, which is just about another week away. It is the one time each year we eat that dish and I always look forward to it! Yum.
