upload layout

Can someone tell me how to upload a layout to the Critique gallery. I have completed my first layout and would like to see how I can improve it.

Click on the gallery tab at the top of the page.
Click the the "Critique My Layout" category (4th one down, below the images).
Click the Upload link (just below the top images, on the right side).

I tried to do it and I think my layout is to big. It is 45.2MB. Is that to large and how do I decrease the size. Sorry I am such a dummy!

I also noticed it was suppose to be a jpeg file and mine says it is a PSD file. How do I change it to a jpeg.

Oooh* - that is way too big.* The file must be 150kb or smaller.*

To make it a jpg, choose SAVE AS, then instead of a Photoshop file (PSD) choose JPEG from the drop down box.*

Then resize it by going to the IMAGE menu, select IMAGE SIZE.* I suggest 150 pixels per inch for the RESOLUTION box, and maybe 5 inches by 5 inches.* Save that and check how big the file (look in the details or right click on it and look at the PROPERTIES.* You may need to decrease the size further if it is still too big.

If you have PS pr PSE2,3 or 4

Go to Image - Resize - Image Size

when a box pops up change the resolution to 72 pixels per inch, then set the width and height to 600 pixels each and click okay

then go to *File - Save for Web - and make sure your layout is under 120kb by moving the quality slider (on the right) down. *Click okay. *

I DID IT!!!! Thanks for all your help. It is uploaded into the Critique folder.
