OMG! Forgot to tell you all.....

That, as of last Thurs., DD3 is now in "big girl panties" for all except nighttime! WooHoo!

She'd been a bugger with the potty training. Some days she'd do great and the next she'd not use the potty at all. I finally realized that if she had the pull-ups (or a diaper) on there was no real incentive for her to go use the potty. She knew she could go in her pants.

So, last Thurs. we got the go ahead from her teacher and her babysitter and she is now pull-up free except for bedtime! She's only had one accident and it was TOTALLY not her fault as she had fallen asleep in the car and barel woke when I brought her in......

Ahhhh thats great Tara that is one thing i always dreaded was toilet training but thankfully ja was the kind of kid that hated to be wet or dirty and cried as soon as he had done the toilet, so he trained *within two weeks and came of night nappies more or less by himself.
So Congratulations on DD3 *being in big Girl pants. :)

Just wanna say that yesterday was day #5 and she's had only 1 accident. AND that was when she was 1/2 asleep......

It's so cute though...she keeps telling me that she's still a "little girl" though. I think she doesn't like the idea of being a big girl.....I think something inside her is afraid that Mommy won't be there for big girls....I keep telling her that she's my little girl in big girl panties and that she will ALWAYS be my baby----even when she is big and has babies of her own. *sniff, sniff*

Oh- great new. We are dealing with this at home, too. Mt son knows he needs to go when naked, but doesn't pay any attention with a diaper or cloth training pants. I hope I can report some good news soon. TFS.

Argh! DH spent the day with DD b/c she has an ear infection. He left her in pull-ups all day which means she hasn't used the potty at all. He said she didn't "want" to wear undies. WHAT? HELLO? She's been wearing them for 5 days......she knows they go on when she gets dressed....why on earth did he ASK her? DOH!

Nikaya could care less if she's totally wet, even in "big girl" panties. I wish we could get there, but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen any time soon. Congrats on your DD3 getting there, and don't worry, 1 day with DH won't stop her from making progress.

We're going through the "Trials and Tribulations" of potty training here too. Recently, I've let my DD3 regress. She had her tonsils taken out almost a week ago and I just don't feel that I should be pushing the potty training while she's recovering.

However, today she sat on the potty and it was HER idea, so I think recovery is progressing and so will potty training!

That is great Abbysmomma! Congrats! Think she would call my 2 year old and tell her to go in the potty? LOL Emily, 2 years old, will NOT go in the potty! I am going to have to just start putting big girl panties on her and not the pullups. UGH, I hate it to cause that means she is growing up fast!!
