How about making a washer and then make circle on a new layer above it and do text on a curve and then maybe do a cut out on it?
I haven't done any tut searches...but I would try that first....
HTH :)

To make a washer...I would make a circle about an inch in diameter, and fill it with your color. Then make a smaller circle in the middle and delete that circle color to make the hole. Bevel and you should have a basic washer.
Does that help at all?

Kristie... that's basically what I did...
Tara.. here is another one...* not sure what kind of look you are wanting?

and of course you would select your own colors.. and whether you want a metal rim or not .. add the* text and font style of your choice...* and if you want to add any other decor to it.. like the stars i added ... hope this helps... :)

Nice Linda! Not sure if those are what Tara was talking about (altough it looks like it to me), but I would love if you added the tut to the tut's forum (if you haven't already)
Those are awesome. I have done something similar but just used a metal style in PSE.

I would change your lighting level a little higher over the washer, and try lowering the intensity a little..just my 2 cents
Its a great start!!!!

I had to pop back in to look and find out what the word washer was. I hadn't a clue when I first read this. That is a wonderful one you made Linda. I will have to see if I can make one using PSP.

dead easy if you use bevel in eye candy Katt, or chrome also in eye candy its great for washer style effects just keep the bevel shallow.... :) love my psp
Awesome! Thank you so much Karen. I agree with you about PSP - I love mine too.
