Hi, my name is Kim. I live in Billings, MT. I am a SAHM of 4 1/2 wonderful kids, lol. (My 1/2 kid is only here on weekends.) They have given me plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the funny stuff they do but I have just recently come up with the idea of scrapbooking their pictures. Not sure they like the idea yet. My daughter has seen a couple of the pages I have done and is thinking she would like to try her hand at some of them too.

These are the numerals you'll earn by playing.

I post a new math puzzle every Saturday, you figure it out, and you win numerals.

How to play:
When you solve the puzzle, send Terry a Private Message with your answer. Click withnuts to send. Do not reveal the answer in this thread as that will end the game for the week. We would like you to post in this thread though that you're playing, and if this is your first time to play this game, let Terry know when you post. This puzzle will go through the week, and I'll post another one next Saturday. Even though you'll only win the numerals once during the month, make sure to come back each week and continue playing.

Bonus Prizes:
If you like these numerals, make sure to play over and over. A new game comes out every Saturday. Every person who turns in the right answer every week this month will win the full alphabet!

For this puzzle, you might want to read *MY HINTS PAGE*. Check the hints if you're not sure about prime numbers, square roots, or any of those things we haven't thought about since math class.

I'm excited to say that not only are more and more people joining us in our math games, but paperlady has tried her hand at writing a FFMN puzzle. Here's her puzzle, and it's a fun one! Thank you, Joan!

Hint for clues #4 and 7: As a reminder, powers are the times a number is multiplied by itself. So 3 to the 4th power is 3x3x3x3 or 81, and 2 to the 3rd power is 2x2x2 or 8. The hundreds digit raised to the 4th power would be hxhxhxh and to the 5th power, hxhxhxhxh.

Clues:

1. The answer is a 6-digit whole number.

2. The sum of the 6 different digits is a prime number under 20.

3. The number is divisible by 2 and 5, but not by 3 or 4.

4. The 2-digit number formed by the hundreds digit and the tens digit is the square of the tens digit.

5. The 2-digit number formed by the hundred-thousands digit and the ten-thousands digit is the hundreds digit raised to the 4th power.

6. The 2-digit number formed by the tens digit and the ones digit is the product of the hundreds digit and the 2-digit number formed by the hundreds digit and the tens digit.

7. The 2-digit number formed by the thousands digit and the hundreds digit is the hundreds digit raised to the 5th power.

8. Half of the digits in this number are prime numbers.

How I showed my students to solve these puzzles: Draw lines on your paper for the number of digits and put possible numbers under each. Mark out numbers as you go �til you get the answer. Check THIS out to see what I mean.

Step #1 - Choose an even number of photos! Frame or mat, if you wish.
Step #2 - Use an even number of papers to build your background!
Step #3 - Add at least 11 round things.
Step #4 - Add an arrow someplace on your page!
Step #5 - Add a border of some type to your page.
Step #6 - Add a few lines of journaling.
Step #7 - Add any additional elements, etc that you would like. Save & you are finished!

Hi, everyone. I am new here - and also new to digital scrapping (well, any kind of scrapping!). I have been papercrafting for years (cards, ATCs, tags, postcards ...) and about a year ago I started to mainly craft with digital formats (CD-Roms, digikits and digistamps). I have been intending to do some scrapbooking for years, but never seem to get round to it. However, I am determined now to give it a go.
