Your images that are uploaded to your gallery can be viewed publicly via the gallery, home page and in our forums. Please do not use profane, vulgar or other inappropriate material in your layouts or in the comments you post.
All images uploaded to the gallery at Gotta Pixel can be edited and deleted by the user who uploaded the photo and/or the administration and moderators of the site only.
We request that images that show bare bottoms or frontal nudity, of either an adult or a child not be uploaded. Adult nudity goes against our family safe mentality. Child nudity, though to us is innocent, can be used by some for reasons that are not innocent. Administration will remove the layout and contact you requesting you remove or cover up the nudity and reupload. It is up to the individual user if they wish to reupload.
Please keep all layouts Rated G. Please do not have nudity or anything of a personal nature in your layouts. We will remove layouts, without notice, that violate this.
Unless a layout is in the "Critique My Layout", please keep negative reviews or suggestions private. If you feel that the layout can be improved upon, send the scrapper a private message instead of posting your thoughts in the comment section.
Gotta Pixel is not responsible for any copyright infringements between members. This type of issue is to be resolved between parties involved only - unless the infringement involves a Design Team Member. If this scenario involves a Design Team Member at Gotta Pixel - please notify the administration.
We showcase a different layout daily in our newsletter. By uploading your layout to our gallery, you are agreeing that your layout can be used in this manner.
We have the right to remove your layout from our gallery when we know it's in direction violation of copyrights. An example is a layout that contains elements or papers of Disney characters.
You agree to credit the original creator of the elements (if used) if downloaded. This is proper etiquette and is required when posting in the gallery. Please try to use the provided fields in the gallery to do this.
Please post the FIRST and LAST name of the digital scrapbook element designer. If the designer does not give their full name, please list what is in their terms, or by what they have requested to be called.
You are allowed to post a link to the kit that you used in the corresponding field.
If you can not document who created an element in your layout, your layout should not be uploaded to Gotta Pixel.
To prevent mass uploading, we have had to introduce a 6 layout every 24 hour limit in our galleries. This means you can upload 6 layouts every 24 hours.
Please do not advertise "release dates" of a kit. If the kit has not yet been released, then wait until it is to add your layout.
Please do not advertise digital products. We understand that our gallery will be used as an advertising tool by designers to get their name out there, but we request that you respect this site by not blatantly advertising those products. If this is found in our galleries, an Administration will private message you with a warning and the advertising will be removed. If continued advertisement happens after a warning, you will be placed on upload restriction.
If we find that the open link policy is being abused, we have every right to amend these terms and revoke the right to link to outside sites.
Scraplifting is the act of copying ideas and designs from another person’s scrapbook page to use in your own pages. Designs or ideas can be copied in whole or in part and is largely subjective. Each layout is copyright to the original creator of the layout. It is permitted to "scraplift" (copy another person's layout) - but credit MUST BE GIVEN to the original creator. Scraplifted layouts cannot be submitted to any magazine (paper or electronic) without the permission of the original creator.
