Although the administrators and moderators of Gotta Pixel will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and the owners of Gotta Pixel will not be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violation of any laws.

The owners of Gotta Pixel reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
We will collect no personal information about you when you visit our website unless you choose to provide that information to us.

If you do nothing during your visit but browse through the website, read pages, or download information, we will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically. This information does not identify you personally. We automatically collect and store only the following information about your visit:

1. The internet domain (for example, "gottapixel.net" if you use a private Internet access account, or "yourschool.edu" if you connect from a university's domain) and IP address ( an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web) from which you access our website.
2. The type of browser and operating system used to access our site;
3. The date and time you access our site;
4. The pages you visit;
5. If you linked to this website from another website, the address of that other website;
6. What files you have download from the site.

Forum Terms of Use

We welcome our members to talk about just about anything that is family friendly! We have forums dedicated to digital scrapbook topics and we have others dedicated to non-digital scrapbooking topics. There isn’t much we don’t talk about. With that being said, we do not allow off-site linking or advertising in our forum or gallery. We have one exception to this term though. Off-site linking can be included in a post if it is for entertainment and/or informative reasons (i.e. free fonts, videos, tutorials, articles) and the site is not another digital scrapbooking website.

We have an incredible team here at Gotta Pixel and they all do a lot for our site and members. We want to focus on promoting their hard work and the best way to respect their efforts is by not promoting off-site designers and stores in our forum. We understand that sometimes there is a need for a casual mention of another site, but there is a difference between this and blatant advertising of another site or store.

As we mentioned, we are a family friendly website. Please refrain from using profane and/or obscene language and please, always be courteous and respectful of your fellow scrappers.

Signature Guidelines

Each member may include one clickable, off-site link (text or blinkie) in their signatures. They may link to their personal Facebook page (no fan pages), personal Twitter account or personal blog.

Blinkies or images that are not larger than 150px wide by 50px high are the only images that can be clickable in your signature.

Please keep any other images within your signature 400px wide by 150px high unless it’s a Gotta Pixel sponsored image. Sponsored images are ones that Gotta Pixel has created for sales, events, activities and provide for you to place in your signature.

Please do not include more than 8 images in your signature.

We have a great group of ladies (Pixel Praisers) who help keep our galleries and forums active and also help to moderate when an occasions arises. They do periodically check signatures and will, per managements request, edit your signature if it does not meet the above guidelines or the following:

• The linked site/page contains material that is not family friendly.
• The link in your signature is bad or broken.
• The link in your signature demonstrates advertising for competing stores, designers.
• We do understand that being on a creative team is fun and something to be proud of. We want to encourage those who are on the creative teams for Gotta Pixel designers to wear their badge proudly in their signature. However, if you are creative for an off-site designer, we respectfully ask that this not be included in your signature.
• The linked site contains products or services for sale.

It will be up to the discretion of the Praisers whether a link in a post or your signature is considered advertising. They will send you a little note letting you know why the change was made.

Gallery Terms of Use

Effective as of January 1, 2013, all layouts that are uploaded must contain at least one Gotta Pixel product (either free or for purchase). If your layout does contain off-site designers as well as the Gotta Pixel product, you are required to credit the Gotta Pixel product/designer and encouraged to note the off-site designer. However, off-site linking is not permitted.

Please make sure to post your Gotta Pixel credits. Without proper credit, we are unable to verify that your layout contains at least one Gotta Pixel product and may be deleted for not being within the sites terms.

Our members really appreciate it when links are provided for on-site products, so please feel free to include a link to the Gotta Pixel product when you upload!

Please do not include words like “New”, “Coming Soon”, etc. when you are crediting an off-site designer.

We request that images that show bare bottoms or frontal nudity, of either an adult or a child not be uploaded. Adult nudity goes against our family safe mentality. Child nudity, though to us is innocent, can be used by some for reasons that are not innocent. A Praiser will remove the layout and contact you requesting you remove or cover up the nudity and reupload. It is up to the individual user if they wish to reupload.

Your images that are uploaded to your gallery can be viewed publicly via the gallery, home page and in our forums. Please do not use profane, vulgar or other inappropriate material in your layouts or in the comments you post.
All images uploaded to the gallery at Gotta Pixel can be edited and deleted by the user who uploaded the photo and/or the administration and moderators of the site only.

We showcase a different layout daily in our newsletter and on our Facebook page. By uploading your layout to our gallery, you are agreeing that your layout can be used in this manner. At no time do you give up your copyrights to your layout.

If layouts are found to not follow these terms, they will be removed. The Praiser will send you a little note letting you know why the change was made.

Each member is allowed 6 layouts per day. Layouts are 600 x 600 pixels in size and should be under 200KB. Due to how the gallery works, if you add your layout to more than one gallery, each gallery counts as one (1) photo and counts towards your daily upload limits.

Freebie or Pixel Club Membership Downloads Terms of Use

Altering of elements is not permitted without permission from the original creator of the element. This violates the creators artistic ability and time involved to create the element for download.

Downloading elements from Gotta Pixel does not change copyright from the original creator. The original creator will always remain the copyright holder of their creation. By downloading elements from our web site you agree that you are merely "borrowing" these elements from the site and/or the creator.

You are not permitted to link directly to any element on this web site from another outside web site (i.e.: linking directly to a download from another site's message board).

Pixel Club Members are not to share any download they receive from this exclusive subscription and are not to share their accounts with others. Doing so will cause your account to be terminated with no monetary refund.

Links / Third Parties

Gotta Pixel is not responsible for the terms of use or privacy policies of sites that are linked from our web site - whether it is listed in our resources, the forum/message board, gallery, or from another member of Gotta Pixel.

General Terms of Use

First off, we never want to see anyone go... but if you wish to leave us, please read the following information.

You can elect to terminate your membership with Gotta Pixel at any time. Simply >> submit a ticket << and request that your account be terminated. Upon termination, either by yourself or a banning from administration, your account information will not necessarily be removed entirely from Gotta Pixel - this is to reserve your identity so that no one else can create a new account with your member name or email address, and also allows you the privilege of reactivating your account at a later date if you wish to use Gotta Pixel again. The termination of your Gotta Pixel membership will not automatically terminate any affiliated memberships or registrations you have formed through Gotta Pixel. Images uploaded to the Gotta Pixel gallery will not be deleted by administration. You may manually delete your images by clicking on the move/delete link on each image. Forum posts and private messages will not be deleted unless they are demeaned to be against the site terms of use.
