    2nd Grab Bag Challenge

Wow! I want to thank everyone for the great response to the first “Grab Bag Challenge”. I would have been happy if just 5 people had played! Thanks to “Pups” for getting things started when I was out of commission due to Hurricane Ike....in Ohio!

Here’s how the “Grab Bag Challenge” works: Each month, we will feature an item and a list of choices that could go along with that item, such as “Animals to see at the Zoo.” You will “grab” a specific number of items (animals in this case) and post your list to this forum. You will then be PM’d a list of digital elements that correspond to your choices. Your challenge will be to use each element in your layout. Hopefully, this will take you out of your comfort zone, get you using elements you may not ordinarily choose, and broaden your scrapbooking experiences. When your layout is complete and uploaded to the Grab Bag Gallery, post a link in this forum and include the list of elements (but not the items they linked to) you had to use. Some challenges may have extra bonus challenges.

The Grab Bag Challenge came about when a proposed “Layers” challenge didn’t quite get going. So, to pay honor to our “inspiration”, we’re going to do the one that was planned for the first Layers Challenge. For the October “Grab Bag Challenge” you are going to create a 7-Layer Dip.

Everyone starts with refried beans. Now “grab” six more items to layer on top; listed in alphabetical order, your choices are:
    1. Avocado
    2. Bacon
    3. Black olives
    4. Cheddar cheese
    5. Green olives
    6. Green onions
    7. Green peppers
    8. Guacamole
    9. Jalapeños
    10. Lettuce
    11. Pepper-jack cheese
    12. Picanté sauce
    13. Red peppers
    14. Salt & Pepper
    15. Taco chips
    16. Taco seasoned sour cream
    17. Tomatoes
“Grab" your six choices, post them in this thread, be on the look out for a PM, and HAVE FUN!
