January 20, 2007 ~ Layout Pick

My (soon-to-be) 4 month older wants to help me type this, so please forgive any typos that I miss. I wish he were asleep, LOL.

Another really tough pick. It's so hard to pick just one. But, the one I chose today was chosen for the technique that was necessary to create the layout. This layout, by wallstrednekwife (Lynn), showcases a photograph that she took of a lilypad in her pond. But, you can't tell it was a photograph because of the wonderful techniques. I also love how well the kit she chose coordinates with the photograph. The layout overall is a very classy one. Thank you, Lynn, for sharing this with us!

This layout was for a sketch/template challenge at another site. It's very unlike anything I've ever scrapped before.

I did follow a tutorial to alter the photograph, which I took of a waterlily in my ornamental pond last summer.
