This is a photo of my husband’s great grandparents, making them our grandchildrens great great great grandparents. I love to play around with this photo, this time I have given it some colouring and an old edge, they are posing in an alcove of a house, pot plant has some rather tired looking ferns and on the other side a bit of rubble. And don’t they look happy! They were posing for photos at their daughters wedding. Makes you think!

They certainly do not look welcoming , nor very happy: look at that frown.
