26 year old walk-on kicker Devin Barclay, late of MLS's Columbus Crew, scored the winning field goal in overtime to send The Ohio State University Buckeye football team past Iowa, 27-24, and into a share of the Big 10 Championship and a probable Rose Bowl bid.
Later that evening, journeyman Ned Grabavoy, lost to the expansion draft by the Crew before the 2008 season, and now plying his trade with Real Salt Lake, kicked the winning overtime PK to send his team to the MLS Cup Championship.
