Bathroom Remodel-Left page
We have lived in this house now for a bit over a year & we are still making changes. It takes lots of time to put one's stamp on a home. lol I hope you enjoy my take on one of our "projects" . Hopefully this year I can document it in my scrap pages. TFL

Journaling reads: Have you ever been in a time warp? Well, we felt like we entered one the moment we set foot into our new home. It wasn’t too bad as far as time warps go, but let’s just say, it was time for a makeover!! One of our projects was our master bathroom. It had outdated fixtures, flooring,& the walls were still the builders primer!! The bath had a weird octagon shaped window looking out onto the driveway, not very conductive to privacy.
Phase 1: First step, clean the exisiting blind, this improved the look, but not by much. Fresh paint warmed up the walls, making this room feel inviting for the first time since we saw it. Then, we changed the flooring, can’t say I miss those dingy white floors! New faucets brought the sink up to date & a brand new toilet brought some style to this bath.
Phase 2: As Dean likes to say, My wife is crazy, OMG I can’t believe I’m painting again! lol
Finally found the paint color & decorating style I was after, so once again, paint the walls Then I wanted to add beadboard wainscoating with a decorative ledge. Dean custom buildt an octagon shaped door to cover the window for when we need privacy. ( He dubbed it the port hole) I still have to find a light fixture and some decorative accessories,
but this is one room I can cross off the
to-do list for now!
