I find such happiness in taking photographs and capturing all those memories, and it seems to run in the family. My Mom was exactly the same way. She was always behind the camera during our entire childhood. Every school event, birthday party, dance recital, she was snapping away or taking movies. She has boxes upon boxes of photographs and reels of film and then videos. She never took the opportunity to watch something "live," it was more important to her to capture the moment on film so that we would have them when we got older. My great Uncle Stanley Lacinski was a talented photographer and now I have an entire album full of photos of Mom from when she was a little girl. Those images he preserved are so appreciated and very much cherished as I hope someday mine will be.
