My precious little guy! My not-quite-4 year old took this picture and I just love it! Just the push I needed to finally scrap a layout for him.

Journaling:
Eight weeks old! It hardly seems possible you are already nearly 2 months old, but then it’s hard to imagine that just a short time ago we hadn’t seen your sweet face yet.

You have such a precious grin, but you save it for special moments like when your sisters are laughing and playing together. We’ve even caught you laughing a few times! You made the cutest little noises too and hardly ever cry. When you are hungry or want to be held you’ll let us know, but only fuss a tiny bit. You don’t mind tummy time at all and can even lift your head up and look around while on your belly. We’ve been going to the park a couple times a week so Cayley and Maddie can play and you really like to be all snuggled up on my chest in the wrap, so you don’t mind the walk one bit.

You weight just about eight and a half pounds now and we’ve made quite a few visits to your pediatrician checking on your weight. Just yesterday we learned that you’ve been fighting a bladder or kidney infection and that is probably why you’ve had such a tough time gaining. You started antibiotics last night and soon will go for a couple tests to see why you ended up with an infection.
