The transformation between the before and after pictures is amazing. The first time I ever saw this land, it was covered in pine trees. The trees were cut and then the land was cleared. The machine which I nicknamed, “Land Cruncher” did a remarkable job. We saw it crunch up small trees in its path. Clearing the land also brought changes to the habitat. The men who ran the machines saw several snakes while working. Rodney & I saw this black snake. It was laying still because it had just eaten something. We could see two lumps from a distance!
