I’m thankful I can see the sun rise and set each day. I can hear the magpies warble in the morning and smell my morning coffee brewing.
A few weeks ago I witnessed some wonderful people who worked tirelessly to help someone badly injured, who did not make it.
I am most thankful to those people who spend their working days in emergency rooms, theatre staff , doctors, nurses, ambulance staff, police, worksafe officers and all those people who have to work daily with life and death situations. Those who are there for the families who find it hard to come to grips with events unfolding.
