2008_The year that was
This is for the January Blueprint challenge show casing 2008. It was a difficult start to the year with what had started with incredible excitement with the upcoming birth of our son to the despair when he was stillborn. March took us down to the farm and I captured this brilliant skyline on the way down. In April we went camping for the weekend with my cousin and her partner. May was a big month, it was our little nephew's 2nd birthday and we also went to Vanuatu to have some time away. In June I had an extended holiday down on the farm before I went back to work after 6 months off and I had a lovely time with my in-laws. August brought the excitment of DH's sister's engagement party but September brought the disappointment of another lost hocky grandfinal for my DH, 3rd year in a row October brought the beautiful Josie (our niece) into our world and we made a quick visit down to Wagga to meet her. In November we celebrated our daughter Ella's 2nd Angel Day by releasing some balloons. December was the wedding of DH's sister and what a wonderful way to cap off the year. I can't believe how quickly it went by and yet it feels like January 2008 was just yesterday.
But here's to the year ahead and may there be good time for all
