In case you can’t tell, my DS’s birthday cake was a disaster. One layer came out of the pan in chunks, and this one was no prizewinner. We also ran out of powdered sugar for frosting and couldn’t find the birthday candles. You’d think we would have been prepared since DH’s b-day was just a few days before . . . LOL!
